Welcome to Spirit Quester!

Hello! I'm so glad you stopped by to have a look at my blog!

My name is Mary Bird. I am a Spiritual/Intuitive Tarot Reader, Artist, and Reiki Master/Teacher. My Spirit Art includes Spirit Guide & Past Life Drawings and AuraScans. AuraScans are pictorial messages from your Higher Self that usually consist of colours, symbols, shapes, or even words. Each drawing comes with a guided message.

In my 15 years experinece with the Tarot, I have read at people's homes, street markets, psychic fairs, spiritual churches, shops and other businesses. My readings can be done in person, over the telephone, or via email. In addition to reading for people in my native Australia, I have read for people in New Zealand, USA, UK, Europe, and Asia.

Please feel free to browse this blog on a regular basis for I will be updating it with all information and articles. At the bottom you will find a short story I wrote in the early 1980s, many years belore I embraced my Spiritual Quest. It is called The House on Crescent Avenue. I hope you enjoy reading it.

I have another blog called Mystic Mary http://spirit-quester.blogspot.com/ Unlike this blog, Mystic Mary is solely dedicated to my book Redemption, an autobiographical account of how I came to embark upon my Spiritual Quest.

When it's time - it's time!

We frequently spend our days going about our daily business without much consideration for how we got to be where we are. Then something happens to make us sit up and take notice. Sometimes, we are not ready. Sometimes, we are ready but choose not to be. It's alright. We don't get demerit points for pretending to look the other way. We will always get another chance.

Life is like that. We can take the direct route, or we can take the scenic route. Sometimes, the scenic route is better in the long run because we get to stop here and there and take this or that by-way. From time to time we meet new people and we learn new things. This helps us to become more of who we are meant to be.

Each one of us is different. We need to honour the differences for this is what makes us individuals.

2012 - the year of change

Hi everyone,

I do apologise for being away for so long.

This year has been an roller-coaster, as we expected it would be, but not always how we expected it would be. So far this year I have been overseas for the very first time, a gift from my lovely daughter, Tamara. We were at Stonehenge on the Summer Solstice. We toured parts of England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales. We went to Singapore. When we came home events unfolded that saw me terminate a long term friendship. I won't go into the details here, at this time, but suffice to say it was very karmic and very much something that HAD to happen. This week I will be away again for about three weeks. When I get back I will spend some time adding to both my blogs.

When I get a chance I will load photos and talk about my trip overseas.

Thank you.
Mary :)
